Job Summary
BrightStar Care is seeking English Speaking Home Health Aides (HHAs) to assist seniors and older adults with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers. Responsibilities include accompanying clients to appointments and documenting observed changes. Qualified candidates must have a valid Florida HHA License, speak fluent English, possess a high school diploma or GED, hold a valid CPR certificate, and pass both physical and negative TB screenings. Candidates should also have a valid driver's license with insurance and be prepared for varied physical duties.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida HHA License in good standing
- Must speak fluent English
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CPR Certificate
- Physical and negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance with reliable vehicle
- Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality
- Negative drug screen and motor vehicle background screening
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
