Job Summary
English Long Term Sub for the 2026-2027 school year (1.0 FTE). Plan and implement a program of study following state and district standards, providing differentiated instruction and utilizing research-based practices. Guide student learning toward curriculum outcomes; collaborate with staff to develop and implement instruction; educate students with diverse needs in the regular classroom; manage behavior to maintain a safe learning environment; assess student progress and communicate with parents/guardians; maintain records; participate in staff meetings, professional development, and district testing requirements; demonstrate commitment to equity and cultural competence; and uphold district policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree; valid Washington State teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
- Successfully complete Washington State Patrol background check. Employee is responsible for cost of background check.
