English Learner Assistant

Implement the EL school-wide Language Instruction Educational Plan (LIEP) for identified English Learners through group and individual instruction within established curriculum guidelines. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators to address instructional needs, design and revise EL curriculum, and adapt teaching methods to meet students' varying proficiency levels and disabilities. Support EL teachers in maintaining the instructional schedule, incorporate learner objectives compatible with subject areas, and facilitate communications between schools and homes to ensure parent engagement. Participate with the MTSS team to maximize support and achievement, coordinate field trips, and foster strong school-home relations while adhering to federal, state, and district goals.
