Job Summary
Lead a Model Classroom in a Guidepost Montessori environment; create and maintain an aesthetically appealing, safe Montessori prepared environment; supervise children with adherence to city-mandated ratios; collaborate with Assistant Guide(s); present sequential Montessori lessons per Guidepost standards; observe and document each child’s progress; apply Montessori principles to meet individual needs; foster independence through warm, joyful interactions; implement feedback from Lead Guides, Montessori Mentor, and Head of School; problem-solve student issues with the team; open classroom to regular parent tours and observations; provide exceptional customer service to parents; communicate progress via approved tools; prepare and share formal progress updates and conference notes; participate in regular staff meetings, mentorship sessions, professional development, and community events; pursue annual professional development; work location: Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong; required education includes degree in Early Childhood Education and PGDE/PGCE, with Montessori Certification preferred; Native English Speaker; experience with children aged 0-6; growth mindset and problem-solving approach; growth within a Montessori setting.
