Job Summary
Tutor English learners in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while translating documents and interpreting during parent meetings and conferences. Maintain tutor records, compile achievement data, and establish communication with parents and school personnel. Adapt to changing technologies and learn functionality of new equipment and systems. Work 187 days on a schedule that meets changing priorities and deadlines. Submit translating parent questionnaires in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- An earned High School Diploma
- Fluency in spoken and written foreign language
- Experience in tutoring English Learners
- Experience in translating documents in foreign language using Microsoft Word
- Experience in working with families who speak dual languages
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally
Desired Qualifications
- An earned Bachelor's Degree (A) or higher
