Required Qualifications
- Eligibility to teach as outlined in Louisiana Bulletin 746 (Louisiana Standards for State Certification of School Personnel)
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Louisiana teaching certification or eligibility
- 9-month terms of employment
- Ability to implement an educational program responsive to student needs and align instruction to state and local standards
- Ability to plan and deliver effective instruction with evidenced objectives, standards alignment, and coherent lesson structure
- Strong content knowledge in English, ability to develop lesson plans, and use varied instructional strategies
- Commitment to high-quality instruction, classroom management, assessment, and student engagement
- Ability to participate in professional responsibilities including meetings, IEPs, and collaboration with staff
