Job Summary
Remote Full-time contractor role for English-Cantonese interpreter. Responsibilities include answering calls professionally, working with industry terminology (healthcare/medical), using glossaries and dictionaries, maintaining a quiet and secure home office, and adhering to the interpreter code of conduct. Requires ability to render accurate concepts, retain information, and explain cultural concepts when needed. Training will be provided; ongoing communication with team leader and reporting are expected. Location-agnostic remote work from home with standard tech requirements (wired internet, headset, Windows 10 or Mac).
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Cantonese
- Minimum 1 year interpretation experience preferred
- 90% English proficiency
- Steady wired internet connection
- USB wired headset
- Windows 10 or Mac
