Job Summary
Assess student skill levels and align classroom goals to state and local standards while delivering developmentally appropriate lessons. Provide instruction emphasizing real-life applications, inquiry techniques, and technological resources for problem-solving. Collaborate with staff and IEP teams to integrate skills across the curriculum, maintain attendance and grade records, and implement testing adaptations. Submit quarterly progress reports to parents and administrators, and assume additional duties as assigned by the program supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Pennsylvania Certification: ESL Program Specialist AND a Pennsylvania Level or Level Certification in another subject
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education or a related field of study
- 2+ years of experience teaching in education environments
