Job Summary
Engineers and Designers needed at Birmingham, AL and Greenville, SC offices to join a heavy industrial project-focused team (pulp and paper, power, chemical). Roles span Civil/Structural, Mechanical/Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Chemical/Process engineering and design, plus Project Management. Candidates should have experience with BIM tools and design software (BIM, STAAD, REVIT, AutoCAD, Plant 3D) and be familiar with P&ID workflows, pipe stress, hydraulic calculations, valve sizing, and construction packages. Industrial or pulp-and-paper background is preferred; opportunities exist across multiple disciplines with growth potential within an established construction and engineering provider founded in 1963.
Required Qualifications
- Civil/Structural Engineers and Designers (BIM, STAAD, REVIT, concrete, steel)
- Mechanical/Piping Engineers and Designers (pipe stress, hydraulic calculations, piping design, Autodesk Plant 3D)
- Electrical Engineers and Designers (Autocad, power distribution, motor elementaries, wiring diagrams, construction packages)
- Instrumentation Engineers and Designers (Autocad, valve sizing, P&ID�s, loop sheets, instrument specs, construction packages)
- Chemical/Process (P&ID�s, calculations, WinGEMS, ASPEN, Autocad)
- Project Management (FEL development, project development, management of engineering budget and Schedule)
- Industry Experience: Industrial or pulp and paper background needed
