Job Summary
Engineering Test Technician 2 to support RF Validation Engineers with electrical measurements, characterize new RF/Microwave products using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment, and report data to engineers. Coordinate with project, engineering, and manufacturing personnel; perform reliability testing (power handling, ESD, thermal imaging) and pre-post measurements for product qualifications; assist with test automation and lab maintenance; setup RF power testing and wafer probing; generate datasheet parameter measurements from DC to 120 GHz; maintain calibration-ready R&D equipment; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide troubleshooting for production and prototype failures.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent military training in Electronics with knowledge of RF/Microwave
- 5+ years’ experience testing RF/Microwave products
- Experience using a microscope and tweezers
- Experience trimming PCB with an exacto knife
- Experience using and calibrating VNAs
