Job Summary
The Engineering Technology Department at ECPI University seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach graduate and undergraduate courses and laboratories in Electronics Engineering Technology, particularly in areas such as Robotics & Smart Manufacturing and Machine Learning. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, relevant teaching experience, and a strong industry background. Essential skills include the ability to foster a student-centric learning environment, strong communication abilities, and familiarity with CAD software, while experience with Canvas LMS is preferred. Ideal applicants should have hands-on experience and a solid grasp of control systems and mechatronics.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
- 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited institution
- 2 years teaching/curriculum experience
- 3-5 years industry experience in electrical or manufacturing engineering field
Desired Qualifications
- Expertise in Robotics & Smart Manufacturing
- Experience with Autonomous systems
- Familiarity with IsaacSim, Multisim, and Labview software
- Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Hands-on teaching experience in Electronics Engineering Technology
- Strong online presentation skills
