Job Summary
Process Technician for vacuum and cryogenic systems responsible for loading dewars onto vacuum pumps, LN2 boil-off procedures, monitoring pump cycles with RGAs, performing leak checks, maintaining cleanroom equipment, and documenting IDCA processes and data. Requires operating high vacuum equipment, precise workmanship, ability to read drawings/schematics, and proficiency with MS Office. U.S. Person needed for access to export-controlled information; role involves hands-on manufacturing/processing in a defense-technology environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in a similar manufacturing or process environment
- Demonstrated expertise in operating and troubleshooting high vacuum systems, leak checkers, and Residual Gas Analyzers (RGAs)
- Excellent fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for precision work
- Proficiency with hand tools and various mechanical/electrical measurement equipment
- Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings and rudimentary schematics
- Strong adherence to established procedures and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Experience in infrared technical area is a significant plus
