Engineering Technician

Construct or disassemble undersea sensor components, subunits, or simple models while adapting standard equipment and troubleshooting malfunctions. Follow specific layouts, procedures, drawings, or scientific diagrams to package sensor equipment. Conduct electrical or mechanical tests, modify test setups as needed, and record data. Extract and compile engineering data from field notes, manuals, and lab reports, identifying errors and selecting presentation methods. Assist in design modifications by compiling data on specifications, materials, and operational failures. Perform recurring work independently with technical review for adequacy. Requires five years of experience, Secret clearance, and ability to lift 25 pounds. Located in Crane, IN.
