Job Summary
Assist in setup and maintaining test fixtures and equipment while performing diverse tests on the Company's line of products and competitor products. Execute tests per work instructions and request procedures, then prepare simple reports of test results and make recommendations using a PC with word processing, database, and spreadsheet tools. Basic machining skills, electronics understanding, and ability to complete wiring and soldering are preferred. Must follow all safety protocols, stand for 6 to 8 hours, and lift 50 pounds. Requires 0 to 2 years of experience with test equipment and mechanical/electrical principles.
Required Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of experience with test equipment, product life / performance test procedures and methods, mechanical/electrical principles or an applicable trade
- Knowledge of basic test concepts in the design and development of products and components
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must able to stand for 6 to 8 hours
- Must able to lift 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Basic machining skills
- Basic electronics understanding – AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, controllers
- Ability to complete basic wiring and soldering of components
- Understanding of common machine component applications and assemblies
