Job Summary
Entry-level Engineering Technician I at Still Waters Resort performs entry-level repairs and preventive maintenance across guest rooms and resort amenities, including routine maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances, while assisting with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include completing work orders, replacing light bulbs and air filters, fixing minor plumbing issues, adjusting doors/locks/hinges, supporting preventive maintenance programs, maintaining resort amenities (pools, hot tubs, common areas), cleaning and organizing maintenance areas, responding to guest service calls with professionalism, transporting tools safely, and following PPE and lockout/tagout safety protocols. Strong customer service and communication skills, willingness to learn multiple trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), ability to follow instructions, and dependable punctuality are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0–2 years of general maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license (if required for property vehicles)
- Basic familiarity with tools, equipment, and safe handling practices
