Engineering Technician - The St. Regis Downtown Dubai

Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and hotel equipment, including cleaning and lubrication; visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines; identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings; maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies; communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts; demonstrate knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and general building systems; perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall/wood trim repair, and basic repairs to guestroom items; program TVs and perform general engineering-related inventory duties; follow Lockout/Tagout procedures; perform landscaping repairs; display basic computer skills for inputting schedules and adjusting temperatures; adhere to safety, security, and quality standards; develop positive working relationships and support team goals; lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs/ramps; use computers to access work-related information; perform other reasonable duties as requested.
