Engineering Technician

Job Summary
Write, implement, and train personnel on written work instructions or visual aids. Identify process improvement needs and collaborate with engineering to enhance quality, efficiency, and performance through method design, tooling, ergonomics, and 5S implementation. Review BOMs, routings, and work instructions to prepare work locations for material and tooling presentation. Work with the team to reduce error opportunities and labor hours per unit while providing process data that supports continuous improvement efforts. Assist in ECO process implementation and evaluate internal product quality issues. Requires a US person with a high school diploma, minimum five years in manufacturing, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- US Person
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years working in a manufacturing company
- The ability to understand interactions between engineering roles and production environments
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to improve manufacturing processes with required input tools
- Goal oriented person with the passion and ability to drive results
- Organized, task driven with a proven ability to multitask
- Passion for continuous improvement
