Job Summary
Modify and update existing mechanical designs and technical drawings using 2D and 3D AutoCAD software. Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment while supporting engineering projects from concept revisions through production implementation. Perform basic mechanical engineering calculations, help identify design changes that improve reliability and manufacturability, and provide hands-on support on the production floor for assemblies and system testing. Interface with vendors and customers regarding technical questions and project updates to keep operations moving efficiently. This role offers a full-time direct hire opportunity with a base salary of $80,000 - $100,000, a 4-day work week, and includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering as preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to perform basic mechanical engineering functions and support equipment troubleshooting
- Experience editing mechanical designs and technical drawings using AutoCAD 2D and 3D
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; Associate's degree or equivalent technical experience will also be considered
