Job Summary
Engineering Technician to provide technical support to sales and test department. Responsible for reviewing sales orders and ensuring compatibility of selected parts and quantities, creating draft intersection controller cabinet sketches, and acting as liaison between applications, sales, and test departments. Read and draw cabinet prints using AutoCAD; perform other duties as assigned. Requires ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings, strong English communication, proficiency with MS Office, and familiarity with AutoCAD (preferred). Must be able to use hand tools, small power tools, and test equipment; understand electrical wiring; work well in a team; be self-motivated with good organizational and time-management skills in a high-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical engineering drawing
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)
- Must be able to understand sale orders, i.e., identify the compatibility of the sale orders, selected parts, proper quantity selections and appropriate lead times
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with AutoCAD is preferred
- Must be able to use hand tools, small power tools, and test equipment
- Must be able to understand electrical wiring
- Must be a proactive team player
- Self-starter who can work with customer specifications, rough sketches and understands verbal instructions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Maintain highest level of professionalism under pressure in high-paced environment
- Ability to be flexible and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
