Job Summary
Engineering Technician responsible for building fiberglass splashes and applying to production, using hand tools to cut fiberglass, drill holes, and install components on boats. Work closely with mill operations and product development to follow a splash schedule, cut fiberglass, fabricate installation processes, ensure precise measurements to position components, document locations on splashes for production templates, and communicate with production teams to ensure FRP parts availability. Requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication, attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills, and ability to collaborate as part of a team. Training opportunities include lean manufacturing and 5S; benefits include PTO, insurance, 401k, and quarterly production bonus. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years boat building experience
- 1-3 year fiberglass experience
- Bilingual Spanish/English
