Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance tasks on semiconductor implant equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime; diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions utilizing manuals and diagnostics; conduct preventive maintenance including cleaning, calibration, and parts replacement; collaborate with engineers and scientists to optimize equipment performance; document maintenance activities in logs/databases; assist in setup and qualification of new experimental semiconductor implant equipment; stay updated on advancements and best practices in semiconductor equipment; adhere to safety protocols while handling hazardous materials and high-voltage equipment; participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) functions; travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in electronics, electrical, automotive, robotics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
- Knowledge of Ion implanters and RF plasma systems
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced Engineering & R&D environment
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures while working with hazardous materials and equipment
