Job Summary
Engineering Technician role involving examination of test samples, reading measuring instruments and engineering schematics; develops and adapts test setups and procedures based on standards and safety policies, schedules and coordinates staff workflow, directs daily staff activities, advises on staffing levels and performance, interfaces with UL representatives and clients to demonstrate test methods and results, prepares data sheets and reports, develops training seminars, plans tests, evaluates results, supports budget planning for lab equipment, and ensures adherence to the UL Code of Conduct and security practices. Must be capable of preparing requisitions, communicating findings, and performing related duties as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in laboratory or test engineering environments preferred
- Ability to read measurement instruments, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams
