Job Summary
Entry-level Engineering Technician responsible for drafting, surveying, and preparing engineering designs for utility lines, requiring a high school diploma and relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- 2 - 3 years of experience in drafting, staking, and surveying
- 2 - 3 years of experience with electric, gas, and water/wastewater operations
- Experience in engineering work in a utility related field
- Valid Driver's License (subject to motor vehicle record review)
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational/Specialized Training in AutoCAD, Engineering, and/or Surveying
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Outlook)
- AutoCAD Software knowledge and experience
- First Aid/CPR
