Job Summary
Engineering Technician to support the Engineering Lab by performing hands-on testing, assembling test setups, collecting data, and assisting engineers with product development activities. Work includes testing to aerospace/avionics standards (DO-160/DO-178), installation/integration on aircraft as needed, data collection and documentation, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with engineers to improve test setups and processes. Onsite role based in Mineral Wells, TX with an emphasis on precision measurements, safety, and adherence to aerospace test workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or avionics principles
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. and perform hands on tasks involving tools, equipment, and mechanical setups
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communicator with proven ability to work seamlessly with engineering and technical teams
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks
- Willingness to grow into more advanced test and certification responsibilities over time
- Must be a U.S citizen
