Engineering Technician

The Engineering Technician will independently produce engineering design plans for public works and land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, collaborating with the engineering design team from concept to final plan production. Responsibilities include drafting grading, drainage, utility, street frontage improvements, and stormwater management plans in AutoCAD Civil3D, and preparing drawings per company and public agency CAD standards and project-specific CAD specifications. Proficient use of Civil3D grading feature lines and utility pipe networks is required, with a focus on supporting the project Lead and engineering team. The role emphasizes drafting, sketching, and exhibits to support design efforts, with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and meeting deadlines. 0-2 years of experience in AutoCAD/Civil3D-heavy roles and familiarity with field and office drafting, plus basic computer skills; BlueBeam experience is a plus.
