Engineering Technician IV

Job Summary
Engineering Technician IV performs electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests on current and new product designs under close supervision, contributes to continuous improvement to reduce defects, defines/executes test requirements, sets up test equipment, conducts prototype and product testing per procedures, documents measurements, assists with BOM and 5S/award processes, and supports laboratory audits and reporting. Skills highlighted include ISO 17025 compliance, use of measurement devices, data interpretation, test reporting, fabrication of test equipment per blueprints, and proactive problem identification and containment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 10 Years of relevant work experience
- Ability to perform electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests
- Experience with ISO 17025 and Laboratory Scope of Operations
- Proficiency with measurement devices and data interpretation
- Ability to interpret scientific notation, temperature, and pressure measurements
- Ability to follow blueprints/specifications and assemble/fabricate test equipment
