Job Summary
Engineering Technician II to perform moderately complex test procedures and troubleshooting on electromechanical sub-assemblies and complete systems to ensure compliance with company standards. On-site in the Boston, MA office. Responsibilities include resolving deficiencies from test procedures, developing test/repair procedures, providing mechanical and electrical/electronic support to Manufacturing, performing acceptance testing of electronics/PCBAs/modules/components, software installation, data downloading and entry of test results, assisting in troubleshooting/repair of returned systems, supporting prototype electronics assembly/test, PCBA assembly troubleshooting/rework, with additional duties as assigned. Requires specialized training or an Associates degree and 3-5 years of electronics experience; preferred experience with high voltage electronics and X-ray systems.
Required Qualifications
- Specialized training and/or Associates degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in building, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronics
- Experience with high voltage electronics
- Experience with X-Ray systems is preferred
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Works well in a cross-functional team environment
