Engineering Technician II

Job Summary

Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and training to technicians while delegating work assignments and monitoring progress against company policies and SOPs. Conduct critical-to-quality audits, maintain accurate documentation for ISO compliance, and support internal and customer audits in partnership with Quality. Collaborate with manufacturing and schedulers to ensure equipment reliability, meet production schedules, and minimize downtime by troubleshooting non-routine issues and resolving workflow interruptions. Lead 6S activities, enforce safety protocols, and implement quality improvements using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment (semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, aerospace, automotive, etc.)
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong sense of urgency and sound decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with consistent follow-through
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience
  • Strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45000 standards
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs and push up to 70 lbs
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; able to manage multiple tasks
  • Valid driver's license
