Engineering Technician II-1

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on Submarine Peculiar Special Equipment, including Missile Tube Loading Platforms, ballast cans, and weapon cradles across Groton, CT and Norfolk, VA. Perform operational procedures for AURVS, AURES, and Mk 60 AURSs while maintaining certification per technical manuals and PMS schedules. Support shipping and receiving evolutions for VLS platforms and transport TMDs between Norfolk Pier 3 and local contractor facilities. Manage HAZMAT lockers, update maintenance databases, and coordinate weekly de-confliction meetings for non-ordnance handling. Requires two years of hands-on technical experience in submarine PSSE systems. Hourly rate of $19.00 with overtime eligibility under the Service Contract Act.
