Job Summary
Engineering Technician responsible for preparing and updating detailed schematics/drawings for heavy equipment used in the mining and aggregate industries; will produce schematic drawings, update bill of materials, and support material lists for the Purchasing Department; provide support in machine set-up and automation preparation; must collaborate with the engineering team and may travel occasionally. Reports to the Engineering Department Team Lead.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Design preferred
- Strong engineering and mechanical aptitude
- Experience with Auto CAD and/or SolidWorks
- Experience with SolidWorks Electrical a plus
- Basic skills in word processor and spreadsheet programs
