Job Summary
Engineering Technician at Arrow Electronics (Phoenix, AZ) responsible for supporting the production/manufacturing floor including system troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, maintaining label printers and test equipment, and implementing continuous improvement processes. Duties include documenting technical work for manufactured specialty computer systems, revising build plans, conducting root cause analysis, evaluating and processing engineering change notices for correctness and impact on labor and procedures, revising build plans as needed, and supporting integration quoting by understanding manufacturing processes and using quote tools. Requires strong troubleshooting, adaptability, multi-tasking, and excellent communication; typically requires a 4-year degree with 1–2 years of experience or a 2-year degree with related experience.
