Job Summary

Engineering Technician role supporting daily production and long-term engineering projects at Edgewell. Provide daily technical support to operations for troubleshooting equipment and processes; develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods; analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow to maximize efficiency; estimate production times, staffing, and costs for management decisions; resolve deviation reports with plant personnel; initiate equipment improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs; assist in equipment modification, qualification, and verification tests; prepare Capital Asset Requests for new equipment and facility improvements; ensure compliance with government regulations (DOT, EPA, FDA, OSHA); participate in capital planning, cost savings, safety, and quality initiatives; lead packaging process improvements; travel to support suppliers; strong project-management skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams; salary range $56k–$84k with total rewards and benefits; five+ years of experience and Lean manufacturing knowledge preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in manufacturing / industrial engineering or related field
  • Five+ years related experience
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge and a proven track record
  • Experience with SAP, AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • PLC and Ignition experience preferred
