Job Summary
Engineering Technician - E/E Build Up & Diagnosis: perform Complete Vehicle E/E updates and related communications, prioritization, assessments, and reporting to maintain roadworthiness; monitor and update E/E architecture stages across development; identify updates and procure hardware/software; collaborate with PAG/PEG; perform root-cause analysis using tools such as Vector CANape, CANoe, ETAS Measure Data Analyzer; analyze results from static testing and validation test drives; create department/project documents, reports, and statistics; support analytics/workshop coordination; travel up to ~10%; 3+ years automotive E/E experience and certification as an Automotive E/E Technician; strong analytical, planning, and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum requirement is a certification as an Automotive E/E Technician and 3+ years’ work experience in fields related to Automotive E/E Technologies
- 3+ years of Automotive Industry experience in an E/E Architecture Flasher or related role
- Expert knowledge of Complete Vehicle E/E Architecture and Automotive Technologies
- Expert knowledge with associated diagnostic tools to analyze problems on E/E architecture level
- Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills; ability to present complex subject matter to a wide range of audiences
- Proficiency with planning and scheduling work orders
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
