Job Summary
Hands-on Multi-Skilled Site Engineering Technician responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across site assets to ensure equipment reliability, safety compliance, and operational excellence. You will lead fault-finding and diagnostics, track reliability data to identify improvement opportunities, work with production teams, OEMs, and contractors to resolve technical issues, manage critical spare parts inventory, support capital projects including installation and commissioning, and contribute to asset lifecycle planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong background in manufacturing engineering with NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualification, plus proven experience in preventative maintenance and problem solving across mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent communication, organization, and hands-on teamwork are essential. This is a day shift role (Mon-Fri 8:00–16:30) with occasional shift cover as required.
Required Qualifications
- Fully qualified Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent engineering qualification
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience delivering preventative maintenance programmes in fast-paced manufacturing environments
