Job Summary
Execute preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot, and repair bioprocess equipment including fermenters, bioreactors, and chromatography systems within CGMP manufacturing suites. Lead failure investigations, develop engineering solutions for continuous improvement, and generate work instructions and troubleshooting guides for routine maintenance. Manage equipment history files, update documentation in CMMS and electronic systems, and coordinate with vendors for calibrations, repairs, and spare parts procurement. Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs while adhering to strict gowning protocols in cleanrooms.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of related work experience
- experience in GMP / Bio-Pharma maintenance and/or engineering
- Clean room experience
- experience in a similar GMP / FDA regulated industry
- abilities in mechanical/electrical repairs and maintenance
- basic math and computer skills
- ability to clearly communicate (verbal, written)
- ability to lift/carry 40 lbs
- ability to work on ladders/step stools
- ability to follow all Catalent's Safety and Quality procedures and practices
- Day Shift - 6am-6pm Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday
- Location: Harmans, MD - BWI 100% Onsite
