Engineering Technician

Engineering Technician to maintain hotel guest rooms and building systems. Responsibilities include performing general repairs and maintenance (painting, plumbing, electrical systems), inspections of electrical equipment and A/C controls, handling guest room calls and repairs, preventive maintenance on equipment (boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical), taking readings, testing cooling towers, replacing programing on televisions, replacing light switches and fixtures, performing plumbing repairs, repairing water lines, troubleshooting kitchen equipment, maintaining maintenance records, adhering to local/state/federal codes, painting and repairing walls/fixtures, programming hotel security and access systems, completing daily logs and incident reports, and supporting management with special projects. Must be able to work in a hotel environment, handle potentially heavy lifting, and operate as part of a team. Fire alarm procedures and hotel SOPs should be understood.
