Engineering Technician- 2nd B Shift

Job Summary
Supports the production process with direction from the engineers responsible for the project. Daily support of manufacturing process equipment and controls. Onsite problem solving in real time. Communication with engineering and maintenance staff to ensure knowledge of issues. Monitor and collect data in support of improvement activities. Schedule and run trial parts. Submit parts to testing lab for analysis. Development and modification of robot programs. Troubleshooting equipment issues with PLC monitoring software. Must work in a safe manner in compliance with KNA policies and maintain an awareness of danger to themselves and others. Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Required Qualifications
- AS Degree in Mechatronics, pre-engineering, related study, or three plus years manufacturing experience
- Three plus years in support of manufacturing processes
- PLC monitoring and troubleshooting
- Robotic programming
