Job Summary
Assist engineering staff in design, development, production, testing, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, tools, and machinery. Perform automation improvements, new plant layouts, installation, calibration, and operation of production machines. Set up, adjust, and operate machinery; test, inspect, and fix standard malfunctions. Read blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine setup and production sequences. Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components. Complete all necessary documents accurately and adhere to 5S standards, safety, environmental, and quality policies. Handle moderately complex issues and provide leadership or mentoring to subordinates as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Require accreditation from a technical school or applicable skilled trades program
- 2 to 4 years of experience

- Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
