Job Summary
Engineering Technician 2 performs independent execution of test plans, troubleshooting, and contributes to test method development. Responsibilities include conducting live-fire testing and advanced functional evaluations; assembling, modifying, and configuring test articles; troubleshooting firearm and component failures and documenting root causes; collecting and analyzing test data for engineering review; supporting development and validation of new test fixtures and methods; interfacing with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams during testing; and training/mentoring Technician I personnel while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes adherence to safety, 6S, quality, delivery, and productivity standards and contributes to company values.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (technical certificate or coursework preferred); Associate’s Degree in engineering technology, manufacturing, or related field preferred, or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions.
