Job Summary
Lead cross-functional mechanical engineering projects from concept to commercialization, serving as project leader for relatively large or complex programs and coordinating with Research, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Mill Operations. Develop and execute technical programs to meet customer needs, protect technologies through patents and trade secrets, coach and mentor junior team members, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety, quality, and diversity in practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated project leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, driving decisions and delivering complex projects on tight timelines
- Excellent communication of ideas and opportunities to leadership
