Job Summary
Lead MCA Platform Software team by establishing quality standards, driving process improvements, and guiding consistent delivery. Design, develop, maintain, and test board support packages, core services, and middleware applications connecting platform logic to business applications. Derive and allocate software requirements from system inputs, execute hardware/software test plans, and lead troubleshooting to root cause failures. Ensure robustness against configurability, performance, and cyber security while preparing invention disclosures and presenting technical decisions to customers. Collaborate cross-functionally to refine control system requirements and support validation test cases across various environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other Engineering discipline
- Minimum of 7 years' software engineering experience
- Experience in developing, modifying, and debugging device drivers, bootloaders, or board support packages
- Experience with Linux OS on embedded systems
- Knowledge of Linux kernel internals (scheduling, memory management, IPC, file systems, etc.)
- Experience with hardware/software integration, Docker, languages such as C/C++, Bash, Python
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
