Job Summary
Perform and lead engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, repairs, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management. Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and proper operation of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical components, and pools/spas. Execute repairs, troubleshooting, and replacements for mechanical systems, appliances, and household fixtures while installing flooring materials. Lead small construction projects involving drywall, carpentry, concrete, and flooring. Participate in procurement and inventory processes, operate resort software, and interpret technical blueprints. Safely use tools and PPE, lead safety practices, and communicate guest needs professionally. Work weekends and holidays; $24/hour with PM shift availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC experience within a resort or commercial environment
- Written and verbal communication in English
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license
- Universal EPA HVAC license
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to be versatile, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work with enthusiasm and focus
- Candidates are required to pass a background check, drug test, and demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
