Job Summary
Assemble, diagnose, and test complex electro-mechanical systems while resolving first-line escalations and contributing to prototype development. Apply engineering principles, CAD tools, and GMP standards to enhance product quality, actively participating in design reviews and CAPA resolution. Monitor production equipment parameters and process materials, leading cost and time studies to create CEW without engineering support. Train Operation Trainers and junior technicians on Standard Operating Procedures, write new process instructions, and maintain documentation including eRecipes and drawings. Assist in designing production equipment tooling and drive MOC actions to improve systems and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Working towards an AA in Engineering Technology, chemistry, engineering technology or equivalent
- 4-6 years of electro-mechanical technician experience within a manufacturing environment required
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills- email/ phone
- Drafting software experience (i.e., CAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Ability to perform or closely direct new processes, record data, make recommendations as to process improvements and write reports in conjunction with Engineers
- Highly Proficient use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with TrueChem, JPM, MathCAD
