Job Summary
Conduct electro-mechanical system assembly, diagnosis, and testing on the production floor while resolving first-line escalations and supporting prototype development. Execute failure analysis, root cause analysis, and CAPA resolution using 8D and FMEA methodologies to drive value-added customer interactions. Monitor process parameters, equipment, and materials to support problem resolution and maintain global best practices. Lead cost and time studies, create CEWs, and develop new process instructions, eRecipes, and training documentation. Train Operation Trainers and junior technicians on Standard Operating Procedures and participate in equipment design, CIP activities, and MOC implementations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Working towards an AA in Engineering Technology, chemistry, engineering technology or equivalent
- 4-6 years of electro-mechanical technician experience within a manufacturing environment required
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills- email/ phone
- Drafting software experience (i.e., CAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Ability to perform or closely direct new processes, record data, make recommendations as to process improvements and write reports in conjunction with Engineers
- Highly Proficient use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with TrueChem, JPM, MathCAD
- Advanced knowledge in Chemistry (acids, bases, and solvents) and how they relate to BKMs
