Job Summary
Perform maintenance tasks, projects, and preventive maintenance including painting, caulking, wall repairs, and basic plumbing diagnostics. Reset breakers, replace light bulbs, diagnose appliances, and operate resort systems like HotSOS. Install TVs, troubleshoot electronics, and participate in procurement while communicating guest needs through radios and phones. Safely use tools, ladders, and PPE to complete assigned duties. This role supports resort operations across Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort in Central Florida.
Required Qualifications
- 0 to 1 year of hands-on experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment
- Written and verbal communication in English
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work with enthusiasm and focus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to be versatile, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Must communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and resort leadership
- Regularly, the team member must lift, move, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds
- Must pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
