Job Summary
Lead frontend and backend engineers to build scalable, high-quality web applications while driving platform performance, reliability, and AI-driven capabilities. Mentor the Platform Management team, promote engineering best practices and documentation, resolve technical challenges and bottlenecks, collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Support, and stay at the forefront of AI/LLM technologies including MCP to push the product forward.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of backend and frontend development experience
- at least 4 years in a team leadership role
- Strong backend experience with Node.js, Python, and TypeScript
- 3+ years frontend experience with React
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Batch, S3, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS) and deployment/automation
- Proven experience designing and developing robust RESTful APIs
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge and performance optimization
- Experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless)
- Proven track record delivering large-scale, high-quality products
- Experience developing or integrating AI-powered product capabilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Advantage: startup/SaaS experience, MCP or agent/tooling experience, infra/core platform experience
