Job Summary
Provide engineering support to the Missile Engineering team for the MDA Program Office by serving as a point of contact for technical issues and coordinating weekly engineering meetings. Track action items through completion, work with subject matter experts to determine missile component status during development and testing phases, and collaborate with prime contractors on issue mitigation strategies. Develop and deliver critical programmatic reports, collect field data for weekly Program Office distributions, and prepare engineering meeting slides for customer presentations. Provide subject matter expertise in systems engineering and program management for proposal reviews. Requires 8+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a Secret-level security clearance. Full-time, 100% onsite role in Dahlgren, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience supporting missile defense, DoD engineering, systems engineering, program management, or related technical programs
- Experience supporting technical meetings, action item tracking, customer briefings, and senior-level reporting
- Familiarity with systems engineering, configuration management, data management, program reporting, and technical review processes
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with government customers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and subject matter experts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to obtain and retain a Secret-level security clearance
- 100% Onsite
- Travel: Less than 5% expected
