Job Summary
Supervise engineering staff by directing project plans, monitoring attendance, and conducting performance reviews to ensure timely project completion. Independently perform full engineering assignments, including creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks or AutoCAD, selecting components, and generating BOMs for tanks and pressure piping. Collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing to establish priorities and production schedules while working directly with vendors to introduce new products. Maintain ASME Quality Control systems, participate in production inspections, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical background
- Ability to work independently after proper training and be a self-starter
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and clearly
- Willingness to work in a collaborative environment and be a team player
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Steel toe shoes, earplugs and safety glasses are always required while on the production floor

Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with capital equipment is preferred
- A working knowledge of ASME Pressure Vessel Codes, boilers, heat transfer equipment, or auxiliary boiler room equipment is preferred
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with PDM or PLM software is preferred
- Experience with Codeware Compress is preferred
