Job Summary
Maintenance-focused Engineering Supervisor for the Cape Town EDITION Hotel pre-opening. Responsible for installing, maintaining, and improving tools, appliances, and equipment; calibrating controls; inspecting safety systems (fire pumps, sprinklers, alarms); managing inventory and parts; executing life-safety checks and disaster-response planning; and supervising and developing the maintenance team. Demands include heavy emphasis on preventive maintenance, safety compliance, timely response to guest repair requests, and identifying ways to increase efficiency, quality, and cost savings. Requires at least 2 years of related work experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience; Technical/Trade/Vocational degree preferred. License or certification not required.
