Job Summary
Oversee engineering work schedules across multiple locations to organize workflow and deliver service solutions for all instruments and laboratory supplies. Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and validation of equipment ranging from water purification systems to high-performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments. Collaborate with regional directors to optimize service delivery, audit work orders for accuracy, and develop operational standards for instrument maintenance. Train employees and customers on system-level procedures while ensuring compliance with GxP policies and safety protocols. Analyze service data to recommend technical and business improvements, manage customer expectations through clear communication, and support periodic operations reviews.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a related field
- Extensive knowledge of mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography instrumentation
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Sciences
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a service engineer or application scientist for one or several MS manufacturers
- 1+ years of leadership experience
